Obituary of MRS. LILLIE M. HEINZE |
Mrs. Lillie M. Heinze, 77, of Wilson, died Saturday (31 March 1979) at St. John's Hospital, Salina, where she had been a patient for three weeks. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Lucus, of which she was a member. Pastors Robert Shanks and Terry Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the Lucus Cemetery. A memorial in Mrs. Heinze's name has been established with the church in Lucas. Rodrick & Minear Funeral Home, Lucas, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Heinze was born March 13, 1902, near Lucas the daughter of John and Antonio (Najy) Titus. A housewife, she had lived in Wilson for about three years, moving there from Lucas, her life long home. She was a member of the Lucas American Legion Post-s Auxiliary and of Lucas Chapter 188 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She married Ralph Gilbreath April 20, 1920. He died Dec. 18, 1970. She married Frederick D. Heinze, Jan. 17, 1976 at Wilson. He survives, at their home. Other survivors are a daughter, Margaret Naegele, Lucas; six stepchildren, Mrs. Elva Willson, Osborne, Gladys Olds, Wilson, Hilda Betz, Salina, Leola Riley, Harper, Dean Heinze, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Earl Heinze, Wilson; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. A brother, John Titus, preceeded her in death. |
