Funeral Card of MARIE N. LANDDECK |
Daughter of William Unseld and Henrietta Toepel was born December 2, 1885, in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska and passed away October 16, 1974 at the Good Samaritan Center, Hays, Kansas at the age of 88 years 10 months and 14 days.
She was baptized in the Lutheran faith and confirmed on April 14, 1901 in Albion, Nebraska. On Nov. 5, 1913, Marie was united in marriage to Rev. Carl Landdeck. This marriage was blessed with two sons and two daughters. Rev. and Mrs. Landdeck served Lutheran Churches in Pittsburg, Kansas; Grafton, Iowa; Garden City, Kansas and Milberger, Kansas. She is survived by her husband, one son Arthur of Issaquah, Washington; two daughters Mrs. Paul "Lois" Egenes of Newton, Iowa and Mrs. Arthur "Esther" Karst of Olmitz, Kansas; one sister Celda Unseld of Holyoke, Colorado; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One son Luther preceded in death June 2, 1929. Four sisters also preceded in death. Devoted to her family, helpful to her neighbors, faithful to her church, considerate and honest, she gained the respect and esteem of all who knew her. (Back of card) In Memory of Marie N.
