15 August 1956
Funeral Card of KATHERINE DUMLER
Katherine, daughter of George and Eva Lass Rein, was born December 31, 1891 at Friedenfeldt, Russia and died at the Russell City Hospital, Russell, Kansas on August 15, 1956. Her age was 64 years, 7 months and 16 days.

In early infancy she was baptized in the Lutheran Faith. In 1892 the family came to America and settled in Russell County. Here she attended elementary school and grew to womanhood. She was married to Robert A. Dumler on February 17, 1916 at Russell, Kansas. There were four children born to this marriage all of whom survive. After their marriage they lived on a farm in the Big Creek Community, southwest of Russell. With her husband, she raised her family in the Christian way of life. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, a good neighbor and a friend to all who knew her. She entered the hospital 3 1/2 weeks ago and everything possible was done to restore her health by her husband, and children. However her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, called her to that House of many Mansions where she will enjoy life eternal.

To treasure and cherish her memory are her husband, Robert; the children, Mrs. Eva Mehler, Wichita, Kansas; Karl B. Dumler, Imperial Beach, Calif., Mrs. Irene Ball, Arlington, Va., Mrs. Helen Mae Nutsch, Russell, Kansas; 10 grandchildren and three brothers, George, Henry and Ben Rein, all of Russell; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Milberger, Mrs. Eva Karst, also of Russell and many other relatives. A sister, Mrs. Emanuel Keil, preceded her in death, August 30, 1955.
