Obituary of JOSEPHINE "JO" BULKLEY KRUG |
Josephine "Jo" Bulkley Krug, 92, Overland Park, died
Sunday, April 7, 2002, at Manor Car of Overland Park. The body was
cremated. Private memorial services will be held at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Russell. Memorial contributions may be made to Atonement Lutheran Church, 9948 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. 66212. Jo was born July 24, 1909 to Andrew and Jane Bulkley to Wilmington, Illinois. She married Henry D. Krug, Jr., in 1931, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was an architect with the J. C. Nichols Co. for 42 years. She was a loving wife, mother of two and devoted homemaker, who resided most of her life in Prairie Village. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; her daughter, Carolyn Krug Nuss; and three siblings, Margaret Bulkley Stock, Andrew Hiatt Bulkley, Jr., and Eugene Bulkley. Survivors include: her son, Henry D. Krug, III, and his wife, Ann, Overland Park; son-in-law Eldon Nuss, Houston, Texas, three granddaughters, Karyn Krug Brown and her husband Patrick, Lee's Summit, Missouri, Susan Nuss DeLeon and her husband, Frank, Missouri City, Texas, and Laurie Nuss Hogan and her husband, Chris, San Antonio, Texas; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She loved cooking, entertaining and had many many friends that will truly miss her. We are all lucky to have had her in our lives. Arrangements by D. W.
