Deines and Marie E. Michaelis was born in Russell County, Kansas, August 28, 1894 and passed away Saturday, July 30, 1893 at the Terrace Garden Nursing Center in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 2 days. She married Siegmund Dietz, January 19, 1915 at Milberger, Kansas. He preceded in death July 29, 1972. She was a homemaker and was a life time resident of Russell and Barton Counties. She was a member of the United Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Milberger, Kansas. Survivors include three sons, Edwin and Markus both os Wichita, and Luther of Hutchinson, Kansas. Four daughters, Mrs. Rosa Nulik, and Mrs. Helen Landon both of Wichita, Mrs. Esther Karst of Hoisington and Mrs. Leona Kauffman, of Abilene; Three sisters, Mrs. Freda Peake, Mrs. Rosa Bangert and Mrs. Ella Keil all of Russell; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Ida was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, Ferdinand, Ben, Rudolph, and Julius, and two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Flegler and Mrs. Martha Flegler. |
