Obituary of LORETTA MAE CAMPBELL
Loretta Mae Campbell, Casper, died January 7, 2002, in a Corpus Christi, Texas, hospital.

She was born September 5, 1924 in Russell County, the daughter of Herbert and Katherine Schwemmer Becker.

She attended rural schools and Russell High School, graduating in 1942.

She married George E. Campbell July 15, 1944 at Russell. They made their home in Russell until January of 1962 when they moved to Casper, Wyoming.
Later they were divorced and she continued to make her home in Casper. She worked in a ladies clothing store until her retirement.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include: one sister, Virginia Klusener, Enid, Oklahoma; two brothers, Eugene Becker, Salina, and Larry Becker, Charlotte, N.C.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

(Note: the obituary appeared in the Russell Record a second time in early March 2002, the only changes were to the survivors, which also included the following) Survivors include her children, Terry Campbell, of El Cajon, California, Lana Bradley and her husband, Al, of Rockport, Texas, and Scott Campbell, of Glendale, Arizona.

A memorial service was held in the First United Methodist Church, Casper, Wyoming.

The body was cremated and the ashes scattered at Lookout Point on Casper Mountain as she had requested.
