CHETOPA ADVANCE, 15 December 1869 |
Obituary of AMANDA HUNTER KUYKENDALL |
Amanda, wife of Josiah, Kuy KenDall (sic), was born in
Texas, on the Brazos River; moved in early life, with her brother's family
(Mr. Hunter) to Virginia; then she removed to Kentucky, where she was

Our sister was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and died in the faith of the Gospel. Her funeral was attended by the writer, on Tuesday, the 7th inst., at 3 p.m., from Spauldings' Hall to the new Cemetery, where I believe, she is the first and only occupant. "Then sweet be her rest, |
