To get there, turn east from hwy 169 onto hwy 133. Go a few miles until you go over Bender's Mound, a large hill marked by a Kansas Historical Marker. After you go over the hill, turn south onto a gravel road. Go one mile. Turn east. Go 1/4 mile to the cemetery. Near the lane on the east side you will find a stone which has a large dark red peony plant growing right out of the base of it, usually in full beautiful bloom at Memorial Day: MOTHER FATHER ALICE C. JOSEPH R., SR. 1855-1915 1849-1922 7-23 1-18 6-21 1-14 AT REST DARLING Near them is a small light pink granite stone slightly larger than and shaped like a brick: VIRGIL C. SON OF C. & E.M. DARLING JAN.7,1915 JUNE 19, 1915 On the other side of Alice and Joseph are: HENSON SON OF J.R. & ALICE DARLING and this one: I have gone to Buelah land STELLA LUELLA Dau. of J.R. & A.C.
