Transcriber's Note: This is a complete transcription by reading and photographing the gravestones. This transcription has been supplimented with a transcription by Elizabeth Hulse from the early 1970s, provided by Johnson County, as the stones are now missing. Photos available upon request. Cemetery Condition: The cemetery has been abandoned for many years. The cemetery is all but gone, and what little remains is deep in bramble and vines and required a chainsaw for access. About the Cemetery: This old cemetery is located in rural McCamish Twp close to the Douglas County line. It is situated on a section line between two farmed sections, well in from the road, and is marked with a little outcropping of trees to the north of the trees that mark the section line that is far enough in it cannot be seen from the road to the west of the cemetery. Little remains today of this cemetery. Within the copse of trees are two stones, buried within vines and bramble. On the west side of these trees is a clearing with the Broom stone. No other stones can be found today. In the early 1970s, this cemetery was transcribed as part of a project by the Johnson Co. Genealogical Society, and donated to the county. Since many of the stones are now missing, I have added the now missing stones from this transcription, so they also may be remembered. # = From 1970s index, * = Uncovered 2007 ??, ??;, Footstone ECB, * Bathurst, James ??; d. 30 Jul 1863, 13 yrs, Son of N S Bathurst, #* Bathurst, Wm M; d. 12 Oct 1879, Husband of Margret Bathurst, * Broom, John H; d. 21 Oct 1885, 10 y 9 m 2 d, Son of G P and M M Broom Moore, Ellen; d. 13 Nov 1876, 63 y 9 m, Wife of James Moore Moore, James; d. 12 Feb 1861, 48 y 3 m Rochell, Elizabeth G; d. 13 Nov 1861, 42 y 8 m 5 d, # Rochell, James M; d. 13 Mar 1881, 64 y 8 m 27 d, #* Vance, Alberta; d. 01 Jan 1874, Dau of J W and M E Vance, #* Vance, Flora; d. 17 Aug 1879, Dau of J W and M E Vance, Footstone FV, #* Vance, James; d. 18 Feb 1872, Son of J W and M E Vance, Footstone JWV, #*
