Photos available upon request. About the Cemetery: This cemetery is located in Old Shawnee Town, a recreation of life in the Prairie. The park is located in the heart of what was once Gum Springs, later renamed Shawnee, Kansas. Old Shawnee Town is comprised of buildings both authentic and recreations, including a church with an authentic cemetery. According to the City of Shawnee, there are no actual graves here.
