Obituary of ISAAC MARION McNUTT
Isaac Marion McNutt, 86, a lifelong resident of Lane and vicinity, died last night at 11:55 o'clock in Cedar House convalescent home.

He was the last member of his family. He was a retired rural mail carrier, who worked out of Lane for nearly 35 years. Born May 9, 1871, near Rantoul, he was the son of Henry and *Mary Jane Childers McNutt.

He was married on March *8, 1892 to Elizabeth White, who died in 1947. He was a member of the Lane Methodist Church and for many years a member of the Masonic lodge, being a charter member of the Lane lodge.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. D.W. White, Caney; Mrs. John Hoerning, Denver; and Mrs. Lyle Kirkland, La Mesa, Calif; and one son, Murlin McNutt, Long Beach, Calif; five grandchildren and seven great grandson.

Funeral services will be in the Lane Methodist Church with burial in the Lane Cemetery. *(His mother's name was Eliza Jane Childers, not Mary Jane Childers). *(He married March 6, 1892 Lane, KS).
