Last Will and Testament of JAMES ALEXANDER |
This the last will and testament of I, James Alexander,
witnesseth: That I, being now in sound health and disposing memory do make this my Will, to wit: I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Lillie the sum of Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars, to be paid in money. I will and bequeath to my son, Frank Alexander, the farm now owned by me in Union Center Township, Elk County, Kansas, to wit: The south Half of the Northwest Quarter and the North Half of the Southwest Quarter and the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, all in Section Fifteen in Township Twentynine (29) South, of Range Nine (9) East of the Sixth P.N. I further will and bequeath to my said son Frank Alexander, all the personal property, moneys, accounts, and notes, judgements and such other property of which I may die seized of in this or any other state or country, subject however to the payment of said sum of $300.00, above willed and bequeathed to my said Daughter. It is understood and hereby stipulated and it is my desire that my body may be decently intered and that all my debts shall be fully paid out of my personal property but should such personal property to be insufficient then such expenses and debts shall be paid out of said real estate. Dated this 11th. Day of November, A.D. 1905.
