Bolton, a village of Montgomery county, is a station on the line of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe R. R. that runs from Independence to Tulsa, 8 miles southwest of Independence. It is a money order postoffice, is suppiled[sic] with telegraph, telephone and express service, and is a shipping and supply point for that section of the county. The population in 1910 was 75.
