Hettie Agnus (Shrum) Fisher

Hettie Agnus (Shrum) Fisher, 95, died September 28, 2007 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital, Medicine Lodge. She was born October 28, 1911 at Seiling, OK the daughter of John Wesley and Lillie Agnus (Barney) Shrum.

A resident of Medicine Lodge since 1997, coming from Turon, she was a school cook, and also cleaned homes, businesses and the Turon Community Church. She was a member of Turon Community Church, First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge and the Senior Citizens Club, Turon.

On August 29, she married Ray E. Fisher at Alden, KS, he died July 2, 1992.

Survivors include three daughters: Betty Webster, Haven; Sherry Mull, Riley; and Judy Block, Medicine Lodge; a sister Sadie Dykes, Stafford; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by three sisters Louise Dupee, June Bryan, Louise Millspugh, and three brothers Roy, Raymond and Junior Shrum.

Graveside service was on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007 at Turon Cemetery, Turon, KS.
