Albert Stanley Garten

OBITUARY

Albert Stanley Garten was born on December 2, 1904 and died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Garten, on Monday, February 18, 1924.

He was born in Kiowa county about one and one half miles from Belvidere. When he was about two years old he moved with his parents within the vicinity of Sun City, where he has resided until his death. Albert was a boy of strictly temperate habits and has had many friends among the young people of the community. He became a member of the Baptist Church of Sun City in the meetings held quite recently by Rev. C. A. Brown, the pastor. Albert was just entering into a strong and promising young manhood, and has gone from among his beloved friends into the great divide, leaving a vacant place in the community.

He was the fourth child of a family of six, Roy J., Guy Williams, Carrie Irene, Albert Stanley, Glen Delbert and Opal May. Roy, Guy and Opal reside in and near Sun City, his sister, Mrs. Carrie Turk, in Los Angeles, and his brother Glenn preceded him in death 18 months ago.

The community extends sympathy to the bereaved parents, relatives and friends. C. A. B.
