Divorce Mill Grinding

Three divorce cases were filed in the district court the past week, the plaintiff in each case residing at Kiowa.

Elvia Hummel asks for a legal separation from her husband, John Hummel, on a plea of desertion and non-support. They were married February 16, 1896 and have two children - a daughter 10 years of age and a son 6 years old. Plaintiff asks for custody of children. The defendant lives in Missouri. Noble and Tincher are the plaintiff's attorneys.

Leona Hancock has sued A. W. Hancock for a divorce. Plaintiff and defendant were married at Alva, Oklahoma, May 17, 1905. They have a boy 3 years old. The defendant is charged with cruelty and non-support. Plaintiff asks for care and custody of the child. Noble and Tincher are her attorneys.

Malvina Lemon has filed a petition, through her attorney, F. F. Perry of Kiowa, asking to be divorced from her husband, Albert B. Lemon. Non-support is alleged. They were married February 16, 1905. The defendant has waived summons and will in all probability not resist the divorce.
