 was born in Hope,
 Ind. and lived in
 the area for 10 or
 15 years in his
 earlier life. He
 retired 4 years ago
 as a stationary en-
 gineer for the In-
 dianapolis School
 for the Blind.
   Services were at
 10 a.m. Tuesday at
 St. Mark’s Catholic
 Church in Indianap-
 olis. Burial was in
 Rest Haven Cemetery
 in Edinburg.
 The Singleton &
 Herr Funeral Home,
 Madison Ave. mortu-
 ary was in charge
 of arrangements.
   Survivors include
 daughters, Mrs.
 Graceann Berry,
 Mrs. Rosemary Spen-
 cer, Mrs. Dotty Knar-
 tzer, Mrs. Barb Ro-
 maine, Miss Susie
 Winn, Miss Marilyn
 McCurdy and Miss
 Pat McCurdy, all
 of Indianapolis;
 sons, John, Steve
 and Jim of Indianap-
 olis and Joe of
 Cincinnati; a sis-
 ter, Mrs. Grace
 Cherry and a broth-
 er, Dale Winn; also
 16 grandchildren.
   He was preceded
 in death by his wi-
 fe, Charlotte.
