Norman Earl Williams
Norman Earl Williams, 73, died Thursday, March 27, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital Beech Grove. He was a resident of Acton.
He was born July 10, 1929, in Marion County. His parents were James H. and Ethel (Kern) Williams. He married Christine Goode on April 13, 1946, in Franklin. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Rose Ann Williams of Acton and Sharon Faye Carver of New Whiteland; a brother, James Williams of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
He attended Franklin-area schools.
He was employed by Diamond Chain Co. in Indianapolis as a forklift driver for 32 years, retiring on Jan. 1, 1987.
He enjoyed working on and fixing automobiles
Monsignor Harold Knueven will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Monday at Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
