WEAVER RITES HELD TODAY Edinburg, Ind., Sept. 10—Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the St. John’s church, west of Taylorsville, for Mrs. Margaret Goetz Weaver, who died at her home in that community Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock following an illness of several months. Three children and her husband preceded her in death. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. John Lain and Mrs. Omer Cook, of Columbus; Mrs. Arthur Gardner, of Tuscolia, Ill., and Mrs. Harold Shipp, of Indianapolis; two sons, Harry Weaver, of Edinburg, and Ollie Weaver of Columbus, and one step-daughter, Mrs. William Sullivan, also of Columbus.Franklin Democrat, 14 September 1928
MRS. MARGARET GOETZ WEAVER Mrs. Margaret Goetz Weaver, age sixty-seven, died at her home in the St. John’s neigh- borhood, west of Taylorsville, Saturday following an illness of some time. She was married to Phillip Weaver in 1879 and to this union nine children were born. Three children and the husband preceded her in death. She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. John Lain and Mrs. Omer Cook, of Columbus, Mrs. Arthur Gardner of Tuscolia, Illinois, and Mrs. Harold Shipp of Indianapolis; two sons, Harry Weaver, of Edinburg, and Ollie Weaver, of Columbus.
