A telegram was received at Edinburg Thursday evening of last week from Toronto, Canada, saying that Charles Warder had been killed there by accident. He is a son of Jack Warder, living north of Edinburg, is about thirty years old, and has lived in Canada several years. Two years ago he married to a Canadian lady. Last winter he and his wife visited several weeks at Edinburg.
Note: Ancestry.com and Genealogical Research Library (Brampton, Ontario, Canada), Ontario, Canada, Marriages, 1801–1928 [database on-line] records that when thirty-year old machinist Chas. Warder married twenty-six-year-old Eliz. McElroy on 23 Dec 1897 in Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada, he stated that his parents were Jackson and Louisa Warder.
