George Walk, an aged man residing in Brown County, died Saturday a.m. He came to this country from Germany when a young man. Funeral and interment at Nast Chapel Sunday morning.
Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Morgantown, Jackson Township, Brown County, Indiana State Board of Health, Certificate and Record of Death, Health Officer's Record Number 45, page 127 records that George Walk died at about 8 o'clock P.M. on October 12, 1900 in Jackson Township, Brown County, Indiana from acute nephritis of twenty-seven days duration, aged sixty-six years. He was male, white, married and a farmer, born in Germany to unknown parents, both born in Germany. The informant was Henry Walk. George was buried in Nast Chapel Cemetery [Morgan County, Indiana] on October 14, 1900, W. S. Adams of Morgantown, undertaker.
