Eb Sutton died last Saturday night after an illness of a few weeks. He was a well-to-do farmer of Marion county.

Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Certificate and Record of Death, Perry Towship, Marion County, Health Officer’s Record Number 30, page 360 records that Ebinezer H. Sutton died at about 12 o’clock p.m. on 24 Mar 1900 in Perry from cerebral meningitis of about one week’s duration, contributory cause pneumonia, aged forty-one years. He was male, white, married and a farmer, born in Indiana. His father’s name was Louis Sutton and his mother’s maiden name Adeline Smith, both born in Indiana. The informant was Chas. Sutton. He was buried in Glenn Valley, Marion County [sic] on 27 Mar 1900, J. K. Wilson, undertaker.
