Mrs. Orpha Strickland, daughter of Nelson Richardson, died Tuesday night at 11:15 o’clock at her home in Indianapolis. The remains were brought here for burial. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Christian church, conducted by Elder J. C. Ashley. She leaves an infant five days old. The death is a peculiarly sad one and the bereaved husband and relatives have the sympathy of the entire community.
