Mrs. E. C. Miller was called to Bloomfield Sunday by the announcement that her father, Captain M. H. Shryer, was dangerously ill. Mrs. Miller left immediately after receiving the news, but her father had died before she reached Bloomfield. Deceased was eighty-three years of age. He had been a citizen of Bloomfield sixty-three years. Funeral services were held Tuesday.
