J. T. Reece and wife, of Alexandria, were here this week to attend the funeral of Mrs. Reece’s sister, Mrs. Sandefur.
The funeral of Mrs. Sylvester here was very largely attended.

Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Shelby County, page 262, records that Sarah A. Sandefur died during a coma of three or four days’d duration, due to breast cancer of five or six years’ duration at about 7 p. m. on 17 Feb 1900 in Shelby County, Indiana, aged fifty-seven years. She was female, white, married and a housewife. Her father’s name was William Reece (born in Indiana) and her mother’s maiden name Emily Tucker (born in Ohio). She was buried in Johnson County, Indiana on 20 Feb 1900, undertaker Edwards & H.[sic]
