Clifford D. King, 65, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He was born Dec. 1, 1935, in Kalamazoo, Mich. His parents were Lee O. and Rose B. (Franklin) King. He married Nadine (Vance) King on Jan. 27, 1966, in Indianapolis. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Stephanie L. McKinney and Lena R. King, both of Indianapolis; three sons, Stephen King of Coatsville, Ronald D. King of Greenwood and Barkus L. "Lee" King of Indianapolis; a brother, Gilbert King of Ohio; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin King; and a sister, Leah Lea Bacon.
He was employed for 44 years as a darkroom technician by Allison Payment Systems, retiring in 1997.
He was a member of Graphics Communications International Union 602.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
