The remains of John [sic – Harry] Hopkins were brought from Poplar Bluffs, Mo., and buried in the Catholic cemetery in Indianapolis last Monday. Harry was a son of the late John Hopkins.
Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Tulley attended the funeral of Harry Hopkins last Monday in city.
Note: The 1870 US Federal Census for Pleasant, Johnson County, Indiana records fifty-three-year-old, Ireland-born farmer John Hopkins, his thirty-five-year-old, Ireland-born wife Mary Hopkins and their Indiana-born children, sixteen-year-old John, thirteen-year-old Thomas, eleven-year-old Sarah, eight-year-old Agnes, five-year-old Harry and one-year-old Mary Hopkins.
