Bonnie L. (Baker) Eads
Bonnie L. (Baker) Eads, 63, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, at Forest Creek Village in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She was born June 12, 1938, in Lexington, Ky. Her parents were Shelby and Cordella Baker. She married William L. Eads on Feb. 21, 1974. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Ronald Lyle Osborne Jr. of Clarksville, Tenn.; three daughters, Regina Osborne Gephart of Coal City, Rebecca Lynn Osborne Dye of Amo and Dorthea Eads of Indianapolis; a stepdaughter, Kathy Gollagher of Indianapolis; a sister, Essie Landzorff of Lexington, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, Flossie Gregory.
She was employed as an administrative assistant for five years by Hoosier Environmental Council, retiring in 2000.
She was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church, where she served as Fellowship Committee chairwoman. She was also the vice president of Aid Association for Lutherans Branch 500, a board member of Hoosier Environmental Council Action Fund and former Civil Defense police rescue officer.
The Rev. William E. Lauterbach will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Emmaus Lutheran Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Indianapolis and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery in Indianapolis.
