Floyd Drake  
      Floyd "Bud" Drake, 69, Shelbyville, died Monday at his home.
      Born Jan. 1, 1931, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Floyd B. and Ruth
(Hageman) Drake. He married Ann Coy and she survives.  
      Mr. Drake was a farmer and a member of Norristown Farmers Lodge 147.  
      Other survivors include four sons, James Drake and Tom Drake, both of
Shelbyville, Jerry Drake, Edinburgh, and Larry Drake, Waldron; five
daughters, Karen Hammond and Jennie Chrisman, both of Edinburgh, Janie
Burns and Mary Cangany, both of Flat Rock, and Terri Runnebohm,
Shelbyville; one brother, Donald Drake, Shelbyville; two sisters, Louise
Isley, Flat Rock, and Mae Rose Kessler, Shelbyville; 22 grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.  
      He was preceded in death by one son, one sister and one grandson.  
      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Norman Funeral Home, Hope.  
      Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery, Shelby County.  
      Friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Floyd "Bud" Drake
      Floyd "Bud" Drake, 69, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at his residence in
Shelbyville. 
      He was born Jan. 1, 1931, in Shelbyville.  His parents were Floyd B. and
Ruth (Hageman) Drake.  He married Ann (Coy) Drake.  She survives.  They
were married for 52 years.  Other survivors include four sons, James and
Tom Drake, both of Shelbyville, Jerry Drake of Edinburgh and Larry Drake
of Waldron; five daughters, Karen Hammond and Jennie Chrisman, both of
Edinburgh, Janie Burns and Macy Cangany, both of Flatrock, and Terri
Runnebohm of Shelbyville; a brother, Donald Drake of Shelbyville; two
sisters, Louise Isley of Flatrock and Mae Rose Kessler of Shelbyville; 22
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by
a son, Marvin Drake; a sister, Betty McIntyre; and a grandson, Joshua
Drake. 
      He was a farmer and a member of Norristown Farmers Lodge 147. 
      A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Norman Funeral Home in
Hope.  Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Patterson Cemetery.

2000, at his home.
      He was a farmer and member of Norristown Farmers Lodge.
      The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Norman Funeral Home at Hope.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today.  Burial will be at Patterson
Cemetery.
      Mr. Drake was born in Shelbyville Jan. 1, 1931, the son of Floyd B. and
Ruth Hageman Drake.  He was married to Ann Coy Drake for 52 years.  She
survives.
      Also surviving are children, James and Tom Drake and Terri Runnebohm, all
of Shelbyville, Jerry Drake, Karen Hammond and Jennie Chrisman, all of
Edinburgh, Janie Burns and Mary Cangany, both of Flat Rock and Larry Drake
of Waldron; a brother, Donald Drake of Shelbyville; sisters, Louise Isley
of Flat Rock and Mae Rose Kessler of Shelbyville; 22 grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren. 
      He was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Drake; a sister, Betty McIntyre;
and a grandson, Joshua Drake.
