David Zook one of the oldest residents living near Morgantown, was stricken with paralysis last Saturday night. One whole side is affected, also his vocal organs, rendering him unable to speak. Over a year ago he was stricken but had rallied from its effects. At present he is in a critical condition.

David Zook, who was mentioned a few weeks ago in the Democrat as having been stricken with paralysis, died at his home near Morgantown, last Friday night. He was in his seventy-eighth year and was one of the most highly respected citizens in his community. The funeral took place Sunday morning at 11 o’clock First Mt. Pleasant conducted by E. F. Daugherty.
