Death of Louis Zaring.
Louis [sic] Zaring, age eighty-six years, died Saturday night at the home of his son, Samuel Zaring. He had become very infirm in body and within the last year, his mind had become impaired. A short time ago J. J. Rush was appointed guardian of his estate. He was born in Oldham county, Ky., and came to this county in 1838, settling in White River township. He had thus been a resident of Johnson county fifty-seven years. He leaves personal property to the value of about $14,000 consisting of money and notes. Deceased was one of the old landmarks of White River township and held in high esteem. The funeral occurred Monday at 10 o’clock at Salem.
