OBITUARY.
Wm. Wright, one of our most highly respected young men, died of consumption July 5th, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Wright. He was confined to his bed but a few days, but for the past three years he has been poorly.
In the death of Will the community has lost a bright and promising young man, a true and faithful friend; his parents an obedient and loving son. He was born June 2, 1874, age 24 years, 1 mo, 3 days [sic]. He leaves a father, mother, three sisters and five brothers to mourn their loss, he being the first to answer the call of our loving Saviour. “Whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth.” Let us hope that in this loss we all may be made better and meet Will in the bright beyond.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Davis, at the Christian church, July 7th. Burial at the M. E. cemetery.
