Rev. Edgar Woods a young minister of the Methodist church died at Oakland, of consumption. The remains were brought to Morgantown for burial. The deceased was the second son of the late Rev. Joseph Woods of Evansville. He has been connected with the Methodist ministry for several years, and was one of the bright and shining lights. The father and two of the sons were in the Methodist ministry, and all three have died within the past two years. The family originally were residents of Morgan county.
