Charles G. Wilson, age thirty-two years, died Monday at his home in Greenwood after an illness of three weeks with typhoid fever. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. F. A. Guthrie. The remains were placed in the vault. Deceased was a cousin of county clerk Daulton Wilson.

Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Johnson County, Health Officer’s Record Number 25, page 274, records that Charles Wilson died from typhoid fever of one month and fifteen days’ duration, contributory cause meningitis of eight days’ duration, at about 12:00 o’clock on 19 Feb 1900 in Greenwood, Indiana, aged thirty years. He was male, white, single and a day laborer, born in Indiana. His residence was Greenwood. His father’s name was James D. Wilson (birth place not recorded) and his mother’s maiden name was Oldham (born in Indiana). He was buried in Greenwood, Johnson County on 21 Feb 1900, undertaker J. C. Wilson.
