DEATH OF W. T. WILLIAMS
A Prominent Citizen of Needham Township Passes Away
Wilson Thompson Williams, a well known and highly respected citizen of this county, died Tuesday evening at his home two mile east of Franklin of acute Brights Disease. He was born near Connersville, Fayette county, Oct. 13th, 1838, and came to this county with his parents in 1850 where he lived until his death. He was one of five children born to Joel D. and Fannie Williams. He was married to Melissa Johnson Sept. 25, 1859, to which union three children, Albert, Samuel and Fannie, were born. He was married to Mattie E. Williams March 8th, 1882.
Deceased was a member of the Shiloh church and served as an elder until his death. He leaves a wife, one son, Samuel, five grand-children, two sisters, Mrs. Jane Brown and Mrs. Catherine Johns, and one brother Henry Williams, of the Hurricane neighborhood.
The funeral was held Thursday morning at 11 o’clock at the Second Mt. Pleasant church preached by Rev. F. J. Bouher. Burial at Second Mt. Pleasant. E. G. Barnhizer funeral director.
