Brackett, who died while in the army serving as a surgeon at Helena, Ark., three children are left, Fred, Margorie and Edith. The remains were brought to Franklin last Friday afternoon and taken to the residence of Professor D. A. Owen. The funeral occurred at the Baptist church, of which she was a member, Saturday morning at 8:30 o’clock, Rev. E. S. Gardiner conducting the service. He spoke most feelingly on her life, for she was very highly esteemed by her friends in this city. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
