Mrs. M. Wilkes, aged 65 years, widow of the late Gardner Wilkes, died at the home of her brother, Rev. E. S. Miller at 5 o’clock last Sunday evening. The funeral took place from the house at 2 p.m. Monday; burial at the cemetery here beside her husband and daughter.
