Samuel D. Whitenack, an old and respected citizen living just south of Greenwood, died on July 11th, at the age of 67 years. He moved to Johnson county from Kentucky about 36 years ago and settled on the farm on which he died. The funeral took place from the Greenwood Presbyterian church of which he was a member and the remains were buried beside those of his wife and son in Greenwood cemetery.
