Mrs. B. M. [Barney] Vaught, the wife [sic] of Selma Vaught, died Saturday, April 23rd. The funeral services were held at the Hurricane Baptist church on Sunday, conducted by Revs. Barclay and Hall. Mrs. Vaught was a daughter of Stephen Tilson and was highly esteemed by all who knew her as was shown at the funeral which was one of the largest ever held in that part of the county.
