OBITUARY.
Sarah Cash Varble was born in Virginia, Dec. 22, 1823, and died in Morgan county, Ind., March 30, 1896, age 72 years, 3 months and 8 days.
She moved with her parents when quite young, to Kentucky, and when at a marriageable age, she married Phillip Varble, Sept. 2, 1841, to whom six children were born, three died in infancy, and the remaining three are Henry Varble, Mrs. George Barns and Mrs. Wiley Burnes.
In 1850 she moved with her husband and two small children to Johnson county, and settled near Morgantown where she has ever since resided.
She was not sick long and did not suffer much, and not until Saturday morning, March 28, about 2 o’clock did her friends realize that she was dangerously ill, and it was at that time that they noticed her breathing hard which indicated the presence of lung trouble and catarrhal pneumonia which put an end to her suffering on March 30. She was conscious to the last and gave to her friends and loved ones the blessed testimony that all was well, and she was going to her Savior and hoped to meet them all there. She has many friends in Johnson and Brown counties who will mourn their loss.
Phillip Varble, her husband, is getting very feeble.
