Elizabeth Vandivier was born Dec 1895 and died Dec 11, 1898, aged 3 years. She was the little daughter of Dillard and Emma Vandivier. She was taken with a severe attack of membranous croup, and during her illness received the best of medical treatment, but of no avail. She was a beautiful young flower, and was the pride of the family. Her merry prattle and the sweet smiling face will be missed from the hearthstone, but the dear ones have the promise to meet the loved one again where there will be no parting; no more sorrow and tears. Another chain has been broken; another family tie undone, but the grim destroyer is no respecter of persons. His cruel grasp is ready to take hold of both young and aged. All deeply sympathize with the grief stricken parents.
