DIES AT HOSPITAL
Mary Louise Urbanke, 55, of 209 West Thompson Street in Edinburg died Thursday at Bartholomew County Hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Eskew funeral home at Edinburg by the Rev. George Eagler. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburg. Persons may call at the funeral home anytime until time for service Saturday.
Mrs. Urbanke was born March 15, 1918, in Johnson County to the late Vollie and Bonnie Pearl Mathis Ferguson. She was married to Herman T. Gross, who died in 1951 and later was married to Alvin Urbanke, who died in 1969. She was a life long resident of Edinburgh.
Surviving include three sons, Dale and Charles Gross and Alvin Urbanke, Jr., all of Edinburg; three daughters, Mrs. Linda Deckard, Sandy and Carolyn Jean Urbanke, all of Edinburg; five brothers, Roy Ferguson of Northgate addition, Earl Ferguson of Route 5, Carl Lee Ferguson of Tennessee, Floyd Ferguson of Edinburg and Edward Ferguson of Dana; five sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Warfield of Taylorsville, Mrs. Alice May Hill and Mrs. Edna Sallee, both of Edinburg, Mrs. Ruby Benson of Ohio and Mrs. Minnie Annison of Gary; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marguerite, and four brothers, Raymond, Allen Ray, Charles and Ralph Ferguson.
