Again are we brought to realize the solemn fact that while in the midst of life we are surrounded by death, whose cold and icy hand has been lain on another one of our best citizens and brought gloom over our community and unbearable sorrow to another household. George True departed this life November 21 after untold suffering of five weeks which was bravely and patiently borne until his anguish and pain was delivered by death. The deceased leaves a devoted wife, two bright and loving children, three brothers, three sisters, parents and an innumerable host of friends to mourn their loss, but we mourn not as for one without hope for on yon bright and happy shore we shall meet and clasp glad hands with him who now around the great white throne sits waiting the dear and loving ones that are left behind. The tender sympathy attends the family in their hour of sorrow and affliction. The funeral services were conducted at the Christian church of which he was a member by Elder Mathes after which the remains were carefully and tenderly laid to rest in the quiet cemetery.
