Death of Lee Trout.
Lee Trout, one of the best known farmers in Johnson County, died Monday evening at 4 o’clock from acute inflammation of the kidneys with other complications. His illness dates back several weeks, first assuming the form of rheumatism. After taking treatment at Martinsville and at Greenwood he returned home, thinking his health somewhat improved. He suddenly became worse, his disease taking on a new form which caused his death.
Deceased was well known in adjoining counties and throughout the state as a progressive farmer and was a prominent contestant at the agricultural fairs and at the State fair in the grain department.
He was a son of Abram Trout, born in this county and 53 years of age at the time of his death. He leaves a wife and one son.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock at the Hurricane M. P. church conducted by Rev. Lineberry.
