Harvey Townsend, age sixty years, a well-known resident of this township, died Saturday night at his home south of town. He had been ill but two days, death being due to paralysis of the heart. He was married in 1861 to Mary Vandivier, to which union were born four children. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at his late home, conducted by Rev. John C. Miller. Burial at First Mt. Pleasant.

The funeral of Harvey Townsend, who died Saturday evening, was preached Monday afternoon at the late home of the deceased, by Rev. Miller of Nineveh.
