OBITUARY.
Mrs. Dora (Adams) Townsend was born December 1, 1861, and died December 18, 1889. She was married to George Townsend, March 21st, 1880, at Edinburg, where she lived until her death. There were born to them three children, two daughters and one son, all of whom together with the husband survive her. She was an exemplary wife and a kind and indulgent mother. She possessed both beauty and grace. As a neighbor, but few could excel her and the almost distracted husband has the sympathy of all. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Turner of the M. E. Church, and was largely attended.
