SILAS TICHNOR.

Silas Tichnor died last Friday of pneumonia in Washington, this state. The remains were brought to Franklin, Saturday, and taken to the family residence on East Jefferson street. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the First Baptist church, interment at Greenlawn.
Deceased had long been a traveling salesman, buying and selling lumber for different firms. He had twice married. His first wife was a Miss Beckham, of Louisville, cousin of Governor Beckham. His second wife was Miss M. J. Wild, of Evansville. Two children by the first union survive and two by the second marriage, namely Mrs. T. H. Crutcher, of Indianapolis, and W. B. Tichnor, of New Orleans, and Mrs. Robert Richards, of Beaver, Pa., and Miss Frances Tichnor, of Terre Haute.
