Mrs. Sarah Thornton died Sunday at her home in Greenwood, aged eighty years. She had been ill for about ten days with acute dysentery. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Greenwood Baptist church.

Her father’s name was John Barngrover, birthplace unknown, and her mother’s maiden name Margaret Binginham, born in Pennsylvania.
