L. E. Slack, of this city, attended the funeral of his grandfather, Henry Teeters, Saturday at Morgantown.
Henry Teeters, of Morgantown, whose illness was mentioned last week died Thursday afternoon about 4 o’clock at the home of Wayne Utterback, one mile north of Bargersville, where he had taken sick. A post mortem examination last Friday revealed the cause of death to be a cancerous growth in the lower intestines. Mr. Teeters was about 75 years of age, but until his recent illness had been in comparatively good health. He was well known throughout both Johnson and Morgan counties. The corn grown by many farmers, known as the Teeters corn, was originated by him. Funeral services were held Saturday at his home near Morgantown.
