DEATHS.

JOHN JAMES TARLTON.
––––
John James Tarlton was born Oct 22, 1858. Died at the home of his parents near the Glade, Jan. 31, 1892 at 4:55 p.m. He united with the Glade M. E. church the winter of 1888 under the pastorate of Rev. C. W. Tinsley; now of Madison, Indiana. He never married. He was in childhood a kind obedient son, ever good to his parents and associates. Kind not only to humanity but also for the brute creation. He was not a Christian that made a noise or blew a trumpet but ever had that abiding trust and lived it every day. He was in his days of health very industrious often performing labor when he was not able. The fell destroyer consumption some three years since claimed him as a victim and so at the close of last Sabbath John yielded, his soul taking its flight to glory land. The funeral talk was by Rev. Robinson. Deceased selected the hymns to be sung by kind neighbors around his remains.
